The messaging system in TourneyTeam allows for easy and quick email communication with all your teams and coaches.
On the TourneyTeam home page, click Messaging in the top right hand corner.
First you need to create a contact list(s). While you can add emails directly to a message, lists allow you to quickly choose who you want to send messages to. To do this click the New List button.
When creating lists you'll first want to name the list, then select the recipients who you want to be apart of the list. You can choose contacts from the Season, Group, and/or Team level in TourneyTeam, as well as import email addresses directly into the list. Within each of these levels you can choose specifically from 5 contact categories, Account Manager, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager, and Parent/Guardian.
Once you have your list(s) setup you can start creating messages. To do that click New Message on the main messaging page.
First choose who you want to receive the message, either from a list or by adding emails manually. Then add who the message will be from (your account name will be entered by default), where you want replies to be sent (the email tied to your account will be entered by default), the subject of the message, and the body of the message itself. Once that is filled out you can either send the message or save it for sending later.
Now on the main messaging page you'll see all of the lists you've created and the messages you've saved/sent. Each list you can edit/delete and download as a spreadsheet. Saved messages you can view/edit/delete, and sent messages you can view what you sent and who you sent it to.
